Salem City Firefighter Derek Day explains the equipment on a fire truck to 3-year-old Alec Turnbull and his 7-year-old brother Isacc during Fire Safety Day at Home Depot in Salem. Home Depot stores nationwide celebrate safety the first Saturday in October, inviting local safety personnel to display their vehicles. Other participants included the Salem Police Department, KLG ambulance, EMT ambulance and Salem Perry Crime Watch.
