The First Presbyterian Church was the site of the spring wedding of Kerri Johnson and Jeff Zacharias. The Rev. Meta S. Cramer officiated at the couple's double-ring ceremony at 4 p.m. March 22.
The bride is the daughter of Larry and Brenda Johnson, 33036 Coffee School Road, Salem. The bridegroom's parents are Ken and Suzanne Zacharias, 4761 Poe Road, Medina.
Nuptial music was provided by the Western Reserve Brass Quintet with Nancy McNeal at the organ.
Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride was attired in an elegant couture princess-style gown of matte Italian satin designed and made by Linda McKim of Salem. The neckline and train were enhanced with handsewn re-embroidered alencon French lace appliques and further embellished with sequins and pearls. Her two-tiered elbow-length veil of illusion was lined with satin piping. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of fresh roses in all shades of peach accented with stephanotis and banded with satin.
Jennifer Johnson of Salem, the bride's sister-in-law, was the matron of honor. Attendants included Jody McCracken of Salem, Deanna Wilson of Salem, Tanya Miller of Millersburg and Jaclyn Kuntz of Warren.
Attendants were attired in taupe, strapless long gowns, and carried hand-tied bouquets of fresh roses in peach and cream and banded with satin.
Angela McCracken, daughter of Dennis and Jody McCracken, was the flower girl.
Bryan Zacharias of Toledo, the bridegroom's brother, served as the best man.
Groomsmen were Carlos Garritano of Cleveland, Chris Johnson of Salem, the bride's brother; and Gordon Daily of Solon.
Ring bearers were Kelan Johnson of Salem, the bride's nephew and son of Chris and Jen Johnson; and Jack Wilson of Salem, son of Scott and Nan Wilson.
Approximately 138 guests attended the reception at the Salem Golf Club.
Presiding at the guest book was Emma Wilson, daughter of Scott and Nan Wilson.
The bride received a bachelor's of science degree in education in 2000 from Youngstown State University and a master's in curriculum and instruction from Kent State University in 2004. She is employed as a family consumer science teacher at Salem High School.
The bridegroom is employed as a senior financial analyst at Rockwell Automation in Mayfield Heights. He graduated in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in business administration and a major in finance and marketing from the University of Toledo. He also received a master's of business administration and a major in finance from the University of Toledo in 2004.
Ken and Suzanne Zacharias hosted the rehearsal dinner at the Caffe Capri in Boardman.
The couple resides in Austintown following their western Caribbean honeymoon cruise.
