Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Cook celebrate 65th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Cook of 11645 Beaver Creek Road, Salem, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Jan. 20.

The former Betty Christen and Mr. Cook were married in 1944 in Cumberland, Md., and have lived most of their married life in Greenford. They are members of the Salem First Christian Church where they are members of the Gold Star Sunday school class, which she teaches.

The Cooks have two daughters, Mary Lou Paulin of Waverly, Tenn., and Sandie (Fred) McClellan of Mogadore, and three granddaughters, Terri (Ed) Burns of Mogadore, Sharon (Jammy) McCloud of Waverly, Tenn., and Shannon (Tom) Zahr of Burns, Tenn. They also have five great-grandchildren.

Mr. Cook retired from E.W. Bliss of Salem in March 1986, after 34 years of service.
