Laura Lee Lagaras weds Jereld Michael Remish

Laura Lee Lagaras became the bride of Jereld Michael Remish on Oct. 4 at St. Jude Catholic Church in Columbiana.

The bride is the daughter of Rick and Debbie Lagaras of Columbiana.

The bridegroom is the son of Joseph and Kathy Remish Sr., also of Columbiana.

The Rev. Thomas Ziegler officiated the couple's 1:30 p.m. double-ring ceremony. Music was provided by William Ambert, vocalist.

The bride, escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, wore a strapless gown of white satin that featured a heavily beaded lace bodice, train and hemline. A tiara of diamonds secured her cathedral veil.

She carried a bouquet of three dozen Eskimo and Leonidas Roses, white Swarovski Crystal beads and baby's breath.

Danielle Fedor of Girard served as maid of honor in a gown of cinnamon, as did matron of honor, Sandy Kent of Columbiana.

In matching gowns were bridesmaids, Kristie Remish of Canfield, and Dawn Remish of Columbiana, the bridegroom's sisters-in-law; and Amanda Weitzman of Boardman.

Flower girls were Kaitlin Remish, the bridegroom's niece; and Olivia Lehman, the bride's cousin.

Dan Detwiler of Chicago performed the duties of best man.

Groomsmen were brothers of the bridegroom, Joe Remish Jr. of Canfield, and Jeff Remish of Columbiana; and Colby Garrity of Columbiana and Joe Ischkum of Columbus.

Junior groomsmen handing out programs were Peyton Remish of Columbiana, Joe Remish III and Michael Remish, both of Canfield, the bridegroom's nephews.

Ring bearer was Tyler Remish of Columbiana, the bridegroom's nephew. All four nephews handed out bubbles.

A reception, attended by approximately 340 guests, was held at the Georgetown in Boardman.

After a one-week honeymoon trip to Topsail Island, N.C., the couple resides in Columbiana at 41590 Metz Road.

The rehearsal dinner was held at Dutch Village Inn in Columbiana.

The bride attended Boardman High School and completed her education through the ICS Home Schooling program. She is employed as a supervisor for TJ's at the Holiday Inn in Boardman.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Columbiana High School and attended Kent State University. He has been employed as a delivery driver for the past five years at Sheely's Furniture.
