Mr. and Mrs. Tom Fidoe celebrate 60th anniversary

Tom and Caresse Fidoe of 780 Cunningham Road, Salem, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Feb. 9. The couple was married on Feb. 9, 1949.

Mr. Fidoe worked at Volkswagen for three years, and retired from Chrysler in Detroit, Mich. He enjoys doing his intarsia, which is pictures done in wood, and he also makaes oil lamps.

Mrs. Fidoe does volunteer work for the Habitat for Humanity store, Banquet in Salem and for their church. Both enjoy riding their four-wheel tandem bike.

The Fidoes are the parents of two daughters and one son, Wendy Taylor of Clarion, Pa., Kathie and Joe Sabatino of Salem and Greg and Lori Fidoe of Columbiana. The couple will celebrate their anniversary with family, including their nine grandchildren, and close friends.
