Heather Amistade and Nicholas Hovanic were married on Nov. 28 at Immaculate Conception Church in Washington, Pa.
The bride is the daughter of David and Lisa Amistade of Washington, Pa.
The bridegroom's parents are Kenneth and Catherine Hovanic of Salem.
The Rev. Kevin Poecking officiated at the couple's double-ring ceremony at 4 p.m.
Music was provided by Kathy Sacco at the organ with vocal selections by Caroline Smith. Trumpeter, Patsy Cimino, the bride's great uncle, played "Trumpet Voluntary."
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
Her ivory gown featured a sweetheart neckline with crystal and pearl beading. She carried a bouquet of off-white calla lilies with iridescent crystals.
Ashley Amistade of Washington, Pa., the bride's sister, was the maid of honor.
Attendants were Shawna Guatteri of Weirton, W. Va., the future sister-in-law of the bride; Nicole Smedley of Mars, Pa., the bridegroom's cousin; and Jodi Dugan, Alexandra Maxwell, Abbie Olsen and Shannon Morrissey, all of Pittsburgh, Pa.
The junior bridesmaids were Jillian Couts of Washington, Pa., and Kaitlin Sonson and Kylee Sonson of Pittsburgh, the bride's cousins.
Mia D'Oro of Martinsville, Va., was the flower girl.
Ryan Drake of Columbus was the best man.
Ushers included Shawn Amistade of Pittsburgh, the bride's brother; Sean Addie and Sean Kennedy of Pittsburgh, Mike Miles of Akron, Mike Lukach of Washington, D.C., Frank Amato of Murrysville, Pa. and Andrew Dodgson of Lakeland, Fla., the bridegroom's cousin.
Christopher D'Oro of Martinsville, Va., was the junior groomsman.
Ringbearers were C.J. Sonson and Ethan Richardson of Pittsburgh, the bride's cousins.
Approximately 250 guests attended the reception at the Holiday Inn Meadowlands in Washington, Pa.
The bride graduated from Trinity High School in 2000 and also graduated in 2004 from Washington and Jefferson College with a bachelor's of arts degree in business administration. She is employed as a medical device sales represtentative, specializing in diabetes care, at Roche Diagnostics.
The bridegroom graduated in 2001 from Salem High School and in 2005 from Washington and Jefferson College with a bachelor's of arts degree in information technology leadership. In 2008 he graduated from Robert Morris University with a master's in science in information security and assurance. He is employed as an information security analyst at UPMC Corporate Services.
The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the bridegroom's parents at the Golf Club of Washington and a post wedding brunch at the Holiday Inn Meadowlands.
The couple resides in Mars following their honeymoon to Riviera Maya, Mexico.
