The wedding of Angela Roberts Rank and Young Choi was held on March 28 at St. Luke's Chapel in Charleston, S.C.
The bride is the daughter of Diane and Paul Young of Poland and Garry and Judi Rank of Greenville, S.C. His parents are Dr. Buyng Sue and Haeok Choi of Mount Pleasant, S.C.
The Honorable Robert Roberts, the bride's uncle, officiated. Over 300 guests attended the ceremony and then proceeded to The SC Aquarium for the reception.
The bride wore an Enzoani silk strapless gown in white. She is a 1999 graduate of Salem High School, a 2003 graduate of Wake Forest University with a bachelor's of science degree, and a 2009 graduate of The Medical University of South Carolina with an MD. She will be beginning her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Medical University of South Carolina on July 1.
The bridegroom, a 1999 graduate of Porter Gaud High School and a 2003 graduate of The George Washington University with a bachelor's of science degree in economics, is a 2009 graduate of The Medical University of SC with an MD. He is also beginning his residency in July at The Medical University of South Carolina and is specializing in anesthesiology.
The matron of honor was Kristen Kenst Simon. Bridesmaids included Harriet Burris, Elizabeth James, Clarice Clemmens, Sinai Zyblewski, Emily Choi, Nicola Walker, Rachel Sahn, and Hannah Vernal. Attendants wore full-length raspberry shantung silk dresses by Jennie Yoo and carried pink hydrangea, rose, and sweet pea bouquets.
The best man was Sean Zyblewski.
Groomsmen were Colin Rank, Michael Shuler, Michael Yehl, Ryan Pevnick, David Browne, Paul Riehle, Jonathan Duncan, and Matthew Patrick.
After honeymooning in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and Korea, the newlyweds have been residing in Charleston, S.C.
