Jan Clapsaddle became the bride of Dave Blasiman on Oct. 25 at the United Methodist Church in Damascus. The bride is the daughter of Paul and Claudia Glunt of Canton and James Smith and the late Vicky Smith of Guilford Lake. The bridegroom's parents are John and Marylee Blasiman of Damascus.
Pastor Mick Foster performed the double-ring ceremony. Nuptial music was provided by guitarist Steve Cipriano of Ravenna and a reading was given by Tracey Reeder of Hanoverton.
Escorted by her grandson, Jacob Neill, and given in marriage by her parents, the bride was attired in an ivory strapless, beaded lace gown with empire waist and a sweep train.
The bridesmaids in matching chocolate brown dresses were Andrea Neill of Carthage, N.Y., Amy Lane of Beloit, and Amanda Clapsaddle of Clayton, N.C., the bride's daughters.
Junior bridesmaids were Madelyn and Cassidy Neill and the flower girl was Bailey Neill, all granddaughters of the bride.
Bruce Blasiman of Alliance, the bridegroom's brother, performed the duties of best man.
Groomsmen were Bruce Laughlin of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Aaron Moser of Beloit, the bridegroom's nephew.
The ring bearer was Camden Lane, the bride's grandson.
Lorraine Moser, the bridegroom's sister, registered approximately 175 guests at the reception following at the Alliance Country Club.
The bride is employed at Huntington Bank in Salem as an account relationship associate.
The bridegroom is the golf course superintendent of Alliance Country Club.
The couple resides in Winona.
