Mr. and Mrs. Paul Buckley observe 50th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Buckley of Lisbon recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a surprise dinner party held at the Spread Eagle Tavern in Hanoverton. Hosting the festivities were their three children and spouses, Michael (Colleen) Buckley of Fort Collins, Colo., Suzanne (Michael) Hritz of Salem, and Terry (Linda) Buckley of Fort Myers, Fla. The couple also has seven grandchildren, Keenan Buckley, Christopher, Craig and Michael Hritz, and Ashley, Abby and Ally Buckley.

The former Kay Armstrong, daughter of Maurice and the late Marjorie Armstrong, became the bride of Paul Buckley, son of Raymond and Fern Buckley, on May 2, 1959. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. C.O. Armstrong at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Lisbon.

Mr. Buckley was employed with Cummins Diesel of Hubbard, retiring after 40 years of service.

Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Buckley was employed with Lisbon Schools for 20 years.
