Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Wendell Santee of 14575 Beloit-Snodes Road, Beloit, were honored on the occasion of their 65th wedding anniversary at a family dinner party at Perkins Restaurant and Bakery in Alliance. The event was hosted by the couple's children and spouses, Joyce and Mike Stiffler, Jane and Don Hardy, Nancy and Tom Jones and Jim and Treasa Santee.
The couple also has 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
The former Verla Lucille Cobbs and Mr. Santee were married on June 2, 1944, at the Damascus Friends Church. The Rev. Amos Henry officiated.
Mr. Santee retired from Deming Pump of Salem.
Mrs. Santee is a homemaker. The Santees are lifetime active members of the Damascus Friends Church.
