DECATUR, Ga.- Gladys (Conser) Logue, 96, of Atlanta, died at home Thursday.

Logue was born Jan. 17, 1913, in Alliance, Ohio, to William Frederick Conser and Agnes Scott Conser.

She graduated from West High School of Cleveland and was an Atlanta resident and owner of G.H. McNeill Slipcovers of Atlanta for over 60 years. She and her sister, Mabel Taylor, were well known to many Atlantans for their expertise in sewing custom slipcovers.

She was an active member of the Something Else Sunday School Class of Briarcliff United Methodist Church for over 35 years.

Gladys is survived by niece Jacqueline Ruby Taylor of Atlanta and by cousin Michael R. Scott of Munroe Falls, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harry McNeill and Denard A. Logue; her sisters, Ruby Anna Packer and Mabel Agnes Taylor; and her brother, Mark Scott Conser.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Briarcliff United Methodist Church, 4105 Briarcliff Road NE, Atlanta, with the Rev. Sondra Jones officiating. Interment will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Greenwood Cemetery, 1173 Cascade Circle SW, Atlanta.

Friends have open visitation from 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday at A. S. Turner & Sons, 2773 North Decatur Road, Decatur. The family will be present for the visitation from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at A. S. Turner & Sons and also one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church.
