Dolores Vivian Lesick

SALEM-Dolores Vivian Lesick, 80, of 1246 North Ellsworth Ave., Salem, died at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at the Northside Medical Center.

She was born May 21, 1929, in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Theodore and Verna (Gurney) Flint.

Mrs. Lesick had worked as an assistant manager at the Rite Aid Drug Store and previously worked for American Standard as a grinder and in the Stock Department at Hallmark Greetings.

She was a 1947 Salem High School graduate and enjoyed bowling, bingo, bird watching, the Humane Society and the Lakota Indians Reservation.

Her loving husband of 62 years, Frank Lesick Jr., whom she married August 15, 1947, survives her; along with a son, Larry (Marsha) Lesick of Salem; four daughters, Lois (Steve) Danklef of Salem, Audrey Treleven of Salem, Ronda (Dale) Persello of Salem and Elaine (Tony) Tubecki of Lexington, South Carolina; grandchildren, Jeff, Eric and Lori Lesick, Michael and Tracy Hively, Erin Steele Tiloco, Ryan Steele and Dean and Angie Persello; three great-grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; a brother, Wayne Robert Flint of Charlotte, North Carolina; a sister, Geraldine McPherson of Dungannon, Ohio and two loving cats, Tigger and Angel.

Preceding her in death were her mother, Verna (Gurney) Flint Wheaton Flitcraft; father, Theodore Flint; stepfather, Gerald Wheaton; a sister, Lois Johnson Mathena; and a brother, Eugene Flint.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 1, at Stark Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack Austin officiating.

Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday at Stark Memorial prior to the services. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park.
