Betsy Jo Garwood became the bride of Gerald Lee Wilhelm on Nov. 15 at East Fairfield United Methodist Church in New Waterford.

The bride is the daughter of James and Patricia Garwood. The bridegroom's parents are Charlotte and Jon Vollnogle and Dale and Maureen Wilhelm.

The Rev. Mike Namy officiated the couple's double-ring ceremony.

The bride, escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, wore an A-line strapless gown with ivory lace overlay and pearl accents. Her tiara of pearls and rhinestones secured the waist-length veil with pearl accents and matching scalloped edges. She carried a bouquet of fall colored mix with white roses, burnt orange lilies, and berries.

Kelsi Garwood and Jamie Stacy, the bride's sisters, served as maid of honor and matron of honor, in teracotta orange gowns. In matching gowns were bridesmaids, Leah Garwood, the bride's cousin; Nicole Hirt; Kimberly Louk and Hannah Vollnogle, the bridegroom's sisters; and Bridget Lee, the bride's sister.

Flower girls were Madison and Karli Stacy, the bride's nieces.

Bob Kibler, the bridegroom's cousin, performed the duties of best man.

Groomsmen were Jack Corll; Josh Louk, the bridegroom's brother-in-law; Seth Garwood, the bride's brother; Chad Daily and Matt Reed.

Sydney Garwood and Kaitlin Bankert presided at the guest book.

A reception for 350 guests was held at The Embassy in Youngstown.

After a honeymoon to Aruba, the couple resides in Salem.
