Mr. and Mrs. David Barth of 13621 W. Calla Road, Salem, were honored by family as they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at Maggiano's Restaurant in Cincinnati.
The former Carol Waithman and Mr. Barth were married on Aug. 10, 1949.
Their children are Karen Johnson of Cincinnati, Jerry and Jane Barth of Green Valley, Ariz. (who could not attend) and Marcella and Rev. Louis Boston of West Chester. The couple also has six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The Barths have been members of Real Life Church in Salem for 65 years.
Mr. Barth retired as a tool and die maker at General Motors in Lordstown. For the last 18 years they have spent winters in Auburndale, Fla.
