Mr. and Mrs. Ronald L. Freer, Rauch Road of East Palestine, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Sept. 5 at a private dinner party at Cafe Capri.
The former Toni Gallatin and Mr. Freer were united in marriage on Sept. 6, 1969, at Centenary Methodist Church in East Palestine.
The Freers are the parents of two sons, Major Josef D. Freer, US Army, and Steven Freer of East Palestine.
Mr. Freer is employed at Elder Ag in East Palestine.
Mrs. Freer is a registered nurse with the Columbiana County Health Department.
