Mr. and Mrs. Donald Wilson feted for 50 years of marriage

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Wilson of New Garden recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a party at the Spread Eagle Tavern's Hanover House. The festivities were hosted by their daughters, Christine (Mike) Halleck of Salem and Melissa Wilson of West Hollywood, Calif. Also joining in the celebration was their granddaughter, Mariah Halleck of Salem.

The former Phyllis Adolph and Mr. Wilson were married on Jan. 31, 1959, at the First Methodist Church in Manhattan, Kansas.

Mr. Wilson retired from Columbia Gas following 32 years of service. He was also a Hanover Township trustee for several terms.

Mrs. Wilson is a homemaker and enjoys gardening and antiques.

The Wilsons are members of the New Garden United Methodist Church.
