Damage to the front passenger side of a Salem Police cruiser is shown after it was clipped by a train that could not get stopped by the time the engineer received the message that an ATV was stuck and officers were on the tracks in pursuit of the violators. No one was in the cruiser or injured by the collision that occurred at the South Lincoln crossing. Perry Township officers had one suspect in custody immediately, and others were being sought.
