EAST ROCHESTER-Henry William "Hank" Siegel Jr., 73, of East Rochester, died at 12:15 a.m. Tuesday at Salem Community Hospital.
He was born on July 3, 1936, in Boardman Township, a son of the late Henry William Siegel Sr. and the late Mary L. (Lyntz) Siegel-Martin.
Mr. Siegel retired after 20 years from the Youngstown Osteopathic Hospital in Youngstown where he was a supervisor of data processing. He was a member of the North Georgetown First Brethren Church and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, the former Shirlene Rose Bowman, whom he married on Aug. 18, 1957; a daughter, Amy Lynn Torrence (Michael Langer) of North Lima; a son, Kevin William Siegel of Carlisle, Pa.; two sisters, Marilyn J. (Terry L.) Samuels of Poland and Margaret "Peg" ( William) Brenneman of Knoxville, Tenn.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A Celebration of Life Service will be observed at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the First Brethren Church in North Georgetown with Pastor Ronald W. Waters officiating. Burial will follow in the Masonic Garden of Highland Memorial Park in Beloit.
In joint cooperation, the Salem AMVETS Post 45 and the VFW Post 892 will provide full military honors at the cemetery.
A time of visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen Funeral Home in Salem and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
The Perry Masonic Lodge 185 F&AM will hold a Masonic service at 6:45 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
