The First Friends Church in Salem was the site of the summer wedding of Erin Rebecca Craig and Brett Frederick Bonner. The bride is the daughter of Ron and Becky Craig of Salem. Parents of the bridegroom are Mike and Sherri Bonner of Novelty.
Pastor Peter Fowler officiated at the couple's double-ring ceremony at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 1. Nuptial music was provided by Marian Christensen at the piano.
Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride was attired in a white satin gown highlighted with beaded floral appliques on the bodice and along the bottom. The gown was complete with a matching 5-foot detachable train. Her tiara of rhinestones and pearls were secured by a two-tier elbow-length veil. She carried a bouquet of white hydrangea, purple, pink and white roses, and lisianthus.
Amy Craig of Montana, the bride's sister, was the maid of honor. The matron of honor was Malia Wright of Columbiana.
Bridesmaids were Katey Lora of Salem, Chelsea Leven of Chesterland, and Tara Bonner of Novelty, the bridegroom's sister.
Kevin Wiemann of Missouri was the best man.
Groomsmen included Pete Allen of Colorado, Adam Joly of Columbus, Tim Murphy of Chesterland and Ben Craig of Vermont, the bride's brother.
Guest book attendants were Abigail Zimmerman and Lindsey Craig, the bride's cousins.
Approximately 180 guests attended the reception at Courtney's Banquet Center in Alliance.
The newlyweds are residing in Schaumburg, Ill., following their honeymoon to Estes Park, Colo.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of West Branch High School and a 2007 graduate of Kent State University. She received a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and is employed as a preschool teacher at Bright Horizons in Schaumburg.
The bridegroom graduated in 2001 from West Geauga High School and in 2005 from Ohio University with a bachelor's degree in aviation management. He also graduated in 2007 from the University of Central Missouri with a master's in aviation safety and is employed as ground safety representative for United Airlines.
