Lauren Marie Shevetz became the bride of Johnathan Daniel Phillis on Nov. 7 at St. James Meeting House in the Boardman Park.
The bride is the daughter of Martin and Robin Shevetz. The bridegroom's parents are Rodney Phillis and Elaine Wolfgang.
The Rev. Catherine Daniels officiated the couple's 1:30 p.m. ceremony.
Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a strapless, A-line gown of diamond white taffeta and godavari silk with a chapel train. A tiara of crystals secured her waist-length veil accented with a matching finished edge. She carried a cascading bouquet of white fugi mums, white roses, and assorted fall color mums.
Sarah Finch of Columbiana served her sister as matron of honor in a mocha gown.
In matching gowns were bridesmaids, Abbey Taylor of Baltimore, Laura Bryer of Akron, Terri Ramunno of Boardman, and Angela Duca and Marianne Duca, both of New York City.
The flower girl was Lacey Phillis, the bridegroom's daughter.
Daniel Burton of Beloit performed the duties of best man.
Groomsmen were Christopher Ludwig of Salem, Chad Burton and Timothy Hoffman, both Alliance, and Matthew Heineman and Aaron Grimm of Beloit.
The ring bearer was Garrett Grimm of Beloit.
Richard Shevetz and Robert Shevetz, the bride's godfathers, opened the doors to present the bride and her father at the ceremony.
A reception was held at The Links at Firestone Park in Columbiana.
After a honeymoon trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple resides in Beloit.
The rehearsal dinner was held at Boardman Park.
