BUSHNELL, Fla.-Donnis June Hansen, 82, of Bushnell, Fla., died Thursday.
Originally from Salem, Ohio, she was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Along with her husband, they were volunteers for Meals-on-Wheels for 14 years and also members of the Christian Peace Corp (Maranatha Flight International), helping to build churches, schools, orphanages, and homes for hurricane victims. They volunteered for over 60 mission projects all over the world. Donnis and her husband have been residents of Bushnell for 10 years.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Charles; children, Sandra Shultz, Barbara Courtney, Judy Shinn; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
