George and Marcia Equizi of 2971 Dollar Bonnet Lane, Lakeland, Fla., former Salem residents, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on May 6.
The couple was married on May 6, 1950, at St. John's Catholic Church in Logan, Ohio, by the Rev. Richard Foy.
The Equizis are the parents of three sons, Mark of Salem, George of Tampa, Fla., and Greg of Gainesville, Fla., and one daughter, Ellen of Sarasota, Fla. They also have six grandchildren, Lance, Ryan, Erika, Chloe, Julian and Tyler, and one great-grandchild, Alessandra.
The entire family attended the anniversary celebration at the Cypress Lakes Country Club in Lakeland, Fla.
