Mr. and Mrs. Ray Sanor to celebrate 65th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Sanor of 75 Cedarwood Drive, Beloit, will be honored on the occasion of their 65th wedding anniversary at an open house reception from 3 to 5 p.m. June 27 at the First Brethren Church in North Georgetown. The festivities will be hosted by their children, Kenneth (Sarah) Sanor, Donald (Sue) Sanor, and Gary (Connie) Sanor, all of Homeworth, Nancy (Gary) Diehl of Alliance, Diane (Mike) Gross of Lakeland, Fla., and Karen Cameron of Salem; and their 12 grandchildren. The Sanors also have six great-grandchildren.

The former Kathryn Smith and Mr. Sanor were married on June 24, 1945, at the bride's home on Middletown Road, Beloit. The Rev. Martin officiated.

Mr. Sanor is a retired dairy farmer and a World War II veteran.

Mrs. Sanor is a homemaker and a member of the Women's Missionary Society.

The Sanors are active members of the church and American Legion Post 574. They enjoy spending time with their family, gardening, bowling and playing cards.
