COLUMBIA CITY, Ind.-Scott Gabriel has been named the new chief operating officer of Parkview Whitley Hospital in Columbia City, Ind. With more than 16 years experience in healthcare, Gabriel most recently served as vice president of operations at Dukes Memorial in Peru, Ind. He has served in leadership positions in Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Trident in Charleston, S.C., and St. Rita's in Lima, Ohio.
Gabriel holds a bachelor's degree and master's from Akron University, and also a master's in business administration from Ashland University.
A 1988 graduate of Salem High School, Gabriel resides in Fort Wayne with his wife Julie, and children, Carmella and Anthony. He is the son of Jerry and Anna Marie Gabriel of Salem.
