EAST PALESTINE- Evelyn M. Faulk, 83, of 603 Bacon Ave., died at 6:30 p.m. Monday at her residence following a brief illness.

Evelyn was born June 10, 1927 in Wadsworth, a daughter of the late Paul and Ella Mae Barnhart Roshon, and had resided in East Palestine since childhood.

She was a member of the East Palestine Church of the Nazarene.

Her husband, Clem H. Faulk, whom she married Sept. 28, 1961, preceded her in death June 20, 1981. A daughter, Brenda Twyford, also preceded her in death.

Evelyn is survived by a daughter, Judy (Carlyle) Black, with whom she resided, and a son, William (Heidi) P. Faulk of Nurnberg, Germany. She also leaves a sister, Bonnie Pflugh of East Palestine, and four grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens, New Waterford, with the Rev. Mark Taylor of the church officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home.
