Jacklynn Danielle Ridzon weds Ross Thomas Mercer

Jacklynn Danielle Ridzon became the bride of Ross Thomas Mercer on July 10 at East Fairfield United Methodist Church.

The bride is the daughter of Leonard and Cindy Ridzon of New Waterford.

The bridegroom's parents are Craig and Joanne Mercer of Columbiana.

The Rev. Michael Namy officiated the couple's 4:30 p.m. ceremony.

The bride, escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, wore a white halter ball gown with a beaded lace bodice and a cathedral train with intricate beading and lace applique. She carried a bouquet of purple hydrangeas, white lilies and white roses.

Jessie Lanterman of North Royalton served as the maid of honor in a floor-length purple chiffon dress. In matching gowns were bridesmaids Katie Ridzon, the bride's sister; Erin Neiheisel of Leetonia; Brooke Dilling of New Waterford; and Jennifer Grayson of Champaign, Ill. Megan O'Connell, the bride's cousin, served as the junior bridesmaid.

Ryan Mercer of Columbiana served as the best man. Groomsmen were Scott Raschilla of New Waterford; Tim and Nick Ridzon, the bride's brothers; and Doug Wajda of Champaign, Ill.

Chris Simmons of New Waterford served as an usher. Jenell Martin of Columbiana presided at the guestbook. Shafica Kaleel of Canfield sang before and during the ceremony.

After the ceremony, the bride and bridegroom arrived at the reception in a horse-drawn carriage. Approximately 175 guests attended the reception at the Links at Firestone Farms Banquet Center in Columbiana.

After a honeymoon in Topsail Island, N. C., the couple resides in Columbiana.

The rehearsal dinner was held at the Dutch House in Columbiana.
