NEW SPRINGFIELD - Leroy F. Zouck, 95, of New Springfield, died Wednesday at Salem City Hospital.
Mr. Zouck, the son of the late Franklin Leroy and Elsie B. (Korth) Zouck, was born on Oct. 23, 1915, in Youngstown.
He had resided in New Springfield since 1939. He retired in 1976 as a power house operator and a steelworker at L.T.V., the former Briar Hill Sheet and Tube. He was a W.W. II veteran and served on the Trinidad and Curacao Islands.
He was a member of the Victory Christian Center, Columbiana campus.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia M. (Best) Zouck, whom he married on March 25, 1944. Survivors include, one daughter, Sharon (Rodney) Quinn, of Danbury, Conn.; two sons, Curtis Zouck of New Springfield and Frederick (Donna) Zouck of Beavercreek; and five grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Victory Christian Church, Columbiana, with Pastor Randy Morocco officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home of North Lima, and one hour prior to the service Monday at the church. Burial will be at the New Springfield Cemetery where a military honors service will be conducted.
