Abby Burch and Weston Schreiber, together with their families, are announcing their engagement and forthcoming marriage. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Vernon and Cindy Burch of Salem. She graduated from United Local High School in 2002, earned a bachelor's of arts degree in anthropology and history from the Johns Hopkins University and a master's of arts from the Winterthur Program in American Material Culture at the University of Delaware. She is currently working toward a PhD in early United States history at The Ohio State University.
Her fiance is the son of Bill and Anne Schreiber of Lebanon, Pa. A 2001 graduate of Lebanon High School, he earned a bachelor's of science degree in biomedical engineering from the Johns Hopkins University. He currently teaches high school math in the Baltimore City Public Schools.
The couple is planning a July wedding and reception at Kelton House Museum and Garden in Columbus.
