SALEM-Katherine E. Cable, 79, of Blossom Lane, formerly of Guilford Lake, died at 7:08 p.m. Monday in the emergency room at Salem Community Hospital.
Born June 6, 1931, in Columbus, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Adrienne Griffin.
Mrs. Cable was a member of Harvest Baptist Church. She had worked as an assembler at Worthington Plastics for 17 years.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lawrence Bowen; and second husband, Edward Cable.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathy (Larry) Woodburn of Guilford Lake; three sons, Mike (Nikki) Bowen of East Liverpool, Ted (Terri) Bowen of Washingtonville, and Edward (Clara) Bowen of Lisbon; 19 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronald Laughlin of her church officiating. Private burial will follow in the Lisbon Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11 .a.m until the time of services at the funeral home.
