John and Mary Ruth (Barcus) Stamp of Salem-Alliance Road, Salem will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house reception on May 15 at the Club House of Sevakeen Country Club.
The reception is being hosted by their children and grandchildren. Friends and relatives are welcome from 1 to 4 p.m.
The couple were married on May 13, 1961, at the First Presbyterian Church of Salem . The Stamps are parents of three children, J. Randall Stamp of Salem, Deneen (Mark) Gardner of Leetonia, and Matthew (Tricia) Stamp of Powell. They also have six grandchildren, Levi Stamp, Delaney and Mekensy Gardner and Ethan, Andrew and Austin Stamp.
Mr. Stamp is currently self-employed. He is a member of the Winona Ruritan Club.
Mrs. Stamp retired from Home Savings & Loan in Youngstown. She is a 50-year member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority, the Salem Book Club, Ladies Wednesday Bowling League, and treasurer of Salem Federation of Women's Club.
The Stamps are members of Salem First Friends Church and the Columbiana County Farm Bureau.
