Rebecca Wack, formerly of Berlin Center, and 1Lt. Clinton Kitto were united in marriage during a sunset ceremony on April 29 in Uvalde, Texas.
A dinner reception was hosted afterward by the bridegroom's family in Batesville, Texas.
The bride is the daughter of Deborah Watson of Louisville, Ky., formerly of Salem, and Janice Wack of Fadette, Ala., and the late Daniel Wack. She is currently employed by Drown Enterprises in Enterprise, Ala.
Kitto is the son of Pallas and Karl Kitto of Midland, Texas. He is employed as a munitions officer in the Army, based out of Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas. He is currently deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
The couple plans a honeymoon upon the bridegroom's return from serving overseas. They will reside in San Antonio, Texas.
The bride's maternal grandparents are Howard and Ann Coy of Salem. Her paternal grandfather is the late John R. Wack of Berlin Center.
Prior to moving to Alabama, the bride attended Salem High School.
