Emily Irene Sanders and Glenn Steven Nowakowski were married on June 4 at the Roswell Mill Club in Roswell, Ga. The Rev. David Gilleland officiated at the 6:30 p.m. outdoor ceremony. Music was provided by harpist Lisa Handman. Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the ballroom of the club.
The bride is the daughter of Janet Harris Sanders of Auburn, Ala., and the late Thomas Ray Sanders. She is the granddaughter of William Harris and the late Elizabeth Ann Harris, formerly of Delaware, Ohio, and Gladys Sanders of Washingtonville, and the late Robert Sanders. She graduated from Auburn University with bachelors' degrees in finance and French and a master's in business administration. She currently works as a senior accountant in Atlanta, Ga.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Nowakowski of Snellville, Ga. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kinsey of Canton, Anna Nowakowski of Toledo, and the late Alexander Nowakowski. He graduated from Auburn University in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and is employed as a transportation analyst in Alpharetta, Ga.
The bride was escorted by her mother and given in marriage by her family. A cousin of the bride, Alisabeth Stoin, attended as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Beasley, Ashley Manzoor, Ann Nowakowski, Akta Patel and Lindsay Porter.
The best man was Stephen Dean. Groomsmen were Michael Maxey, Dustin McClimon, Justin Freeman, Robert Sanders and Thomas Sanders. The ring bearer was Landon Stoin. Flower girls were Lucy Harris and Margaret Motts.
Reader for the ceremony was Carrie Harris. Greeting the wedding guests were Ann Mohamed and Nichole Swann.
Following their honeymoon, the couple resides in Atlanta, Ga.
