Samantha Jo Cope and Benjamin Leslie Muniz were married June 25 in a 5:30 p.m. ceremony officiated by the Rev. Mark Thomas at the Cope family farm in Alliance. An evening reception followed at the Salem Golf Club.
Parents of the bride are Robert and Stephanie Cope of Alliance. The bridegroom's parents are Andrew Chaplow of Kensington and Angela Chaplow of Salem.
The bride wore an ivory strapless gown styled with a sweetheart neckline. Crystals adorned flower patterned tulle and a lace overlay skirt and trumpet train.
Appearing in black knee-length gowns were Alexandria Cope, maid of honor, sister of the bride; and the bridesmaids, Jesi Burkhart, Allison Carroll, Trista Houck and Renee Black.
Serving as best man was Greg Banner. Groomsmen were Steven Chaplow, the bridegroom's brother; and Troy Lindesmith, Dan Janosik and Josh Koon.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of West Branch High School. She earned a bachelor's degree in secondary education from Youngstown State University in 2009. Currently she is a 10th grade English teacher at United Local High School.
The bridegroom, a 2006 graduate of United Local High School, also graduated in 2008 from Youngstown State University with an associate's degree in electrical engineering. He is a lineman for Ohio Edison in Youngstown.
After a wedding trip to Mexico, the couple now lives in Hanoverton.
