The First Church of the Nazarene was the setting for the early fall wedding of Brittany Detchon and Ron Louk Jr. She is the daughter of Doug and Gayle Detchon of Salem. His parents are Ron and Donna Louk of Salem.
Jan Winnale officiated at the couple's double-ring ceremony at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 24.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. Her strapless tulle ball gown was enhanced with a beaded satin bodice and corset with a cuff neckline, beaded tulle ball gown skirt and a single-layer tulle veil with beaded edges.
She carried a bouquet of tangerine and burgundy roses, red daisies, white stephanotis and yellow mums.
Abbey Cross of Salem, the bride's sister, was the matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Meagan Hoover of Sodus, N.Y., the bride's cousin; and Dacia Louk of Salem, the bridegroom's sister.
Jarrod Flinn of Akron was the best man.
Groomsmen were Kyle Hartman of Athens, and Marty Ciminelli of Salem, the bridegroom's cousin.
Ushers included Scott Cross of Salem, the bride's brother-in-law; and Ryan Hoover of Sodus, N.Y., the bride's cousin.
Approximately 150 guests attended the reception at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5532 in Washingtonville.
Following a honeymoon to the Outer Banks in North Carolina, the couple resides in Salem.
The bride is employed as a bank teller.
The bridegroom is employed as manager of Hobby Town USA.
