Alex and Tina Simon of Poland are announcing the engagement and forthcoming early winter wedding of their daughter, Jessica Simon and Dr. Carl Peterson. He is the son of C.R. and Linda Peterson of Salem.
The bride-elect earned a CPA after graduating from Ohio State University with a degree in accounting and law (MBA and CPA). She is a corporate counsel for Simon Roofing.
The prospective bridegroom is a resident physician in radiation oncology at James. P. Wilmont Cancer Center in Rochester, N.Y. He graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a degree in biology and chemistry (M.D.M.S), at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine.
