Richard and Erma Apple of Beloit celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Nov. 23 by going to dinner with their children and spouses, Carolyn Sue (Dick) Flowers, Edward and Richard II, all of Beloit, David (Mariam) Apple of Pittsboro, N.C., and Amy (Michael) Ramser of Alliance. Also joining in the celebration were their 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Charles Daily married the couple in Damascus.
Mr. Apple retired from Electric Furnace Co. in Salem. Mrs. Apple is a homemaker and was a Tupperware representative for 10 years. They enjoy working puzzles and on the computer. They also enjoyed making crafts in the past, and selling their wares at many of the local craft shows.
