Salem 41, Minerva 38
SALEM - Salem freshman Tori Jones knocked down four 3-pointers, Lindsey Foster grabbed 14 rebounds and the Lady Quakers rallied past Minerva in the second half for a 41-38 victory. Jones finished with a team-high 16 points. Foster added 10 points and two blocks, and Katherine Stiff had 10 points. Cassie Davidson knocked down a clutch 3-pointer of her own late in the contest and also hustled for five rebounds and dished out three assists.
For the Lady Lions, Lorin Clark finished with a game-high 17 points.
The Lady Quakers (3-6, 3-1 NBC) resume action Saturday, Jan. 7 at Carrollton.
Minerva plays the same day hosting West Branch.

Alliance 63, West Branch 47
ALLIANCE - The Alliance Aviators stayed perfect on the year with a 63-47 win over West Branch. For Alliance (8-0), Jalen Mays led the way with 15 points. J.J. Kukuva added 13.
For West Branch, Matt Latham had a game-high 24 points and added 10 rebounds. Beau Taylor added seven points.
Alliance also won the jayvee game 49-43. Lucas Austin had 11 for the Warriors.
West Branch (3-2) hosts Canton South Friday.
