BELOIT - A fourth quarter surge and eight three-pointers helped West Branch down Canfield 47-45 on Wednesday in girls basketball action.
West Branch (7-1) entered the fourth quarter down by two. Melinda Trimmer had 12 points and seven rebounds for the Warriors. Rebekah Zets added 11 points.
West Branch made eight of 26 three-point attempts.
Sabrina Mangapora had 19 points for the Cardinals, 4-4.
Canfield won the jayvee game 36-31.
