Sebring 62, Leetonia 38

SEBRING - The Sebring Trojans won their second straight and captured their first win in Tier 2 of the ITCL 62-38 over Leetonia.

The Trojans trailed much of the first quarter but rallied for a 27-21 halftime lead and got the win.

Dakota Wagner led the way with 19 points. Mitch Baddeley added 15 points on five 3-pointers. Corey Baia had 11 points, and Jake Hubbs added 10.

Full statistics were not reported to the Salem News.

Sebring (3-4, 1-4 ITCL Tier 2) hosts Southern Tuesday.

Leetonia (3-5, 1-4 ITCL Tier 2) travels to Jackson-Milton.

Wellsville 51, Western Reserve 43

WELLSVILLE - Western Reserve got off to a terrible start and it cost them Friday as Wellsville handed the Blue Devils their first loss in Tier 2 of the ITCL 51-43. Reserve was held scoreless in the opening frame.

Leading the Tigers was Nate Scott with 15 points.

Thomas Benyo tallied 13 for Western Reserve.

Western Reserve (6-2, 3-1 ITCL Tier 2) hosts Lowellville on Tuesday.

Wellsville (4-4, 2-3 ITCL Tier 2) hosts McDonald.

Minerva 45, West Branch 33

MINERVA - Minerva used a 23-4 third quarter run to put away West Branch 45-33. Leading the Lions was Eli Maurer with 19 points.

For the Warriors, Matt Latham had nine points and seven rebounds.

West Branch won the jayvee contest 55-46. Jake Evenoff had 15 points and Dylan Greenawalt added 14.

West Branch (4-3, 2-3 NBC) hosts Louisville Tuesday.

Minerva (4-3, 3-2 NBC) travels to Marlington.

Springfield 65, Lisbon 49

NEW MIDDLETOWN - Springfield remained unbeaten in Tier 1 ITCL play with a 65-49 win over Lisbon Friday.

Leading the Tigers was Ron Rogers with 26 points and eight rebounds. Nick Russell chipped in with 11 points and eight rebounds, and Tom Mastran and Jared McTigue had eight points each.

For Lisbon, Zac Barnes had 13 points, and C.J. Dawson added 11.

Springfield also won the jayvee affair 59-41. Joey Wrask and Mark Schuler had 13 apiece for the Tigers. Eric Walker had 19 for the Blue Devils.

Springfield (7-1, 5-0 ITCL Tier 1) hosts Columbiana on Monday.

Lisbon hosts Crestview.

East Palestine 66, Mineral Ridge 40

EAST PALESTINE - East Palestine scored 30 points in the opening quarter and never looked back en route to a 66-40 win over visiting Mineral Ridge on Friday.

The Bulldogs' were led by Jake DiCello's 22 points. DiCello also had seven assists, five steals and six rebounds. Tyler Foster chipped in 17 points, and Travis Cope scored 13. Zak Brockman hauled down 11 rebounds.

The Rams' Nathan Palmer scored 12 points.

The reserve Bulldogs won 35-31. Steve Parker led the efforts with 11 points.

East palestine (4-3, 4-1 ITCL Tier 1) plays host to South Range on Tuesday.
