West Branch 52, Louisville 40

BELOIT - West Branch's Austen Rekolt hit two clutch 3-pointers back-to-back to end the third quarter giving West Branch a 12-point lead it would not relinquish in a 52-40 win over Louisville.

Rekolt finished with a game-high 18 points and added four assists. Jake Griffith added 13 points and six rebounds.

Louisville was led by Mike Kelly with 17 points. Jake O'Brien added 13 points.

The Leopards won the jayvee game 48-42. Dylan Greenawalt had nine for the Warriors.

West Branch (5-3, 3-3 NBC) hosts Marlington Friday.

Louisville (2-8, 1-5 NBC) hosts Salem Friday.

SEBRING - Sebring won its second straight league contest and third straight overall 40-37 against visiting Southern.

Leading the Trojans was Dakota Wagner with 17 points, 14 rebounds and six steals. Corey Baia added nine rebounds, and Jake Hubbs added seven points.

Kyler Woodward had 11 for the Indians.

Sebring (4-4, 2-4 ITCL Tier 2) hosts Wellsville Friday.

Southern (6-4, 3-3 ITCL Tier 2) hosts McDonald.

Sebring won the jayvee game 47-46. Leading the Trojans was Dylan Mick with 17 points.

Lowellville 64, Western Reserve 50

BERLIN CENTER - Western Reserve got off to another slow start and it cost them against league foe Lowellville 64-50. The Rockets outscored the Blue Devils 18-7 in the first frame.

Leading Western Reserve was Thomas Benyo with 17 points and nine rebounds. Dalton Korda added 10 points.

Lowellville also won the jayvee game 48-35.

Western Reserve (6-3, 3-2 ITCL Tier 2) travels to Jackson-Milton Friday.

Lowellville (6-4, 3-2 ITCL Tier 2) hosts Leetonia.

NEW MIDDLETOWN - Springfield stayed atop Tier 1 of the ITCL with a 64-26 win over Columbiana. Leading the Tigers was Rob Rogers with 13 points. Tom Mastran added 10.

For the Clippers, Jake DeJong had 11 points.

Springfield also won the jayvee game 51-19. Brandon Chamberlain had 12 for the Tigers. Dylan Ferraro had 11 for the Clippers.

Springfield (9-1, 6-0 ITCL Tier 1) will look to stay unbeaten in league play Friday at East Palestine.

Columbiana (1-9, 1-5 ITCL Tier 1) will look to get back on track at South Range.

Mineral Ridge 77, United 54

HANOVERTON - Mineral Ridge got off to a fast start in Hanoverton and held of United 77-54 Tuesday. Leading the Rams was Brandon Perkins with 18 points.

For United, Brandon Miller had 14 points, and Caleb Conser added eight. Brett Albright had six points and six rebounds.

United won the jayvee game 39-36. Braden Davison had 13 points for the Eagles.

United (0-10, 0-6 ITCL Tier 1) resumes action Friday against Lisbon.

Ridge (4-6, 2-4 ITCL Tier 1) travels to Crestview.

NORTH JACKSON - Leetonia bounced back from a loss in Sebring with a 73-69 win over Jackson-Milton Tuesday. Leading the Bears was Cody Stokes with a game-high 30 points. Stokes also pulled down eight rebounds. Ian Sevenich added 17 points.

Ryan Nagy had 21 for the Blue Jays.

Leetonia (4-5, 2-4 ITCL Tier 2) plays Friday at Lowellville.

LISBON - Lisbon dropped Crestview 51-43 Tuesday. Leading the Blue Devils was Zac Barnes with 15 points. Zach Rovnak added 10 points, six assists and four steals, and C.J. Dawson had seven points and seven rebounds.

For the Rebels, C.J. Collins had 12 points and nine reboudns. Adam Coppock added eight points and five assists.

Crestview won the jayvee game 64-30. Derek Bable had 17 for the Rebels. Erik Walker had 16 for Lisbon.
