David and Debra Young of Salem are announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Nicole Young, to Michael McKinney. He is the son of Samuel and Carol McKinney of Salem.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Salem High School and earned a bachelor's of nursing degree from Kent State University. She is employed as a registered nurse at Akron General Medical Center.
Her fiance is a graduate of Salem High School and earned a bachelor's of science degree from Youngstown State University and an education degree from Notre Dame College. He is employed as a career specialist at JOG Our Way in Akron.
