F.E. Cope Invitational
SALEM - The Salem Quakers sported a strong showing Thursday at the 20th Annual F.E. Cope Invitational taking second place. Salem finished with 77.5 points. Austintown-Fitch won the meet with 135.5.
The Salem 1600-meter relay team of Austin Noel, Blake Veglia, Ryan Bush and Zack Penick took first place (3:33.19). The 800-meter relay team of Noel, Buch, Marcus Crittenden and Penick took second (1:32.19). The 3200-meter relay team of Nick Costa, Veglia, Bradley Larson and Scott Lodge took third place (8:45.23).
Salem's Trent Kenreigh took second place in the long jump (21-06). Marcus Crittenden took second in the 200-meter dash (22.85). Zack Wukotich took third in the high jump (6-0), and Austin Noel took fourth in the 400.
East Palestine's Jake Dicello took first in the 200-meter dash (22.60).

Sami Reedy, Deanna Walker, Tyler Schrader and Kaylin Wood all singled for Salem.
Katie Cozy had two home runs and a double for Louisville.
Chandler Rice also had a home run and four singles and Jordan Monnot homered and had a base hit.
