Wildcats top Big Reds, 7-1

RICHMOND - Mark Smyth pitched seve strong innings leading the Edison baseball team to a 7-1 victory Wednesday over Bellaire at Jefferson Lake State Park.

Smyth struck out eight, walked one and limited the Big Reds to one run on two hits in earning the win for the Wildcats. (9-2).

Offensively for Edison, Alec Jones and Smyth each tallied a double and an RBI, Josh Pasek contributed a single and two RBI and Phil Hilt collected a single.
