Mr. and Mrs. Donald E. Lynn of Salem are announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Stephanie Nicole Lynn, to Shawn Michael Penwell, both of Boardman. He is the son of Marcia Penwell of Campbell and Daniel Penwell of Lowellville.
The bride-to-be graduated from Kent State University Salem campus with a degree in early childhood education. She is a preschool teacher at Kiddie Daycare and Preschool in Boardman.
The prospective bridegroom graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in electrical engineering technology. He is employed at Babcock & Wilcox in Barberton.

The couple is planning to exchange vows on June 2 at St. Paul Church in Salem. A reception will follow at the Salem Golf Club. Invitations will be extended for both events.
