Mr. and Mrs. E. Charles (Marlene) Baker of Salem recently observed their 60th wedding anniversary. The couple was married on May 10, 1952.
Mr. Baker retired from Jones Transfer in North Jackson. Mrs. Baker is a homemaker.
The couple's three children and spouses are Charles and Sharon Baker and Dennis and Debbie DeRoads, all of Salem, and Robert and Loretta Baker of Swansboro, N.C.

The Bakers also have seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
They are members of the Salem First Friends Church.
