An open house begins at 1 p.m. May 26 at the Hanoverton Presbyterian Church to honor Grace Watson Halter on her birthday. Mrs. Halter was born and raised in Wayne Township and graduated from Wellsville High School in 1945. She married Paul Halter in 1950 and moved to Texas a few years later. She is a sister to Walter and Bob Watson of Hanoverton, Betty Billie of Wellsville, and Don Watson of Mount Vernon.
