Celeste Ashley Homic and Zachary James Bowling, both of Wellsville, are announcing their engagement and forthcoming wedding.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Craig and Maryann Homic of Hammondsville. A 2008 graduate of Southern Local Junior/Senior High School, she went on to receive a nursing certificate from the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center. She is currently employed as a licensed practical nurse at Assisted Living Ministry Services in East Liverpool.
The prospective bridegroom's parents are Gary and Emily Bowling of Salineville and Melissa Miller of Wellsville. After graduating from Southern Local High School in 2008, he joined the Army National Guard and deployed to Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is currently employed as a security guard at Shell Lubrication in Newell, W.Va. and continues to serve in the Ohio National Guard.
The couple is planning wedding on June 23 at Riverside Presbyterian Church in Wellsville. A reception will follow at the American Legion in East Liverpool.
