WEST POINT - Emergency personnel responded Friday evening to Hoppel's Arena for a woman who fell from a horse.
West Point Volunteer Fire Department first responders and North Star Critical Care ambulance crews tended to the victim, whose name was not being released last night.
According to Lisbon Police Department, the county coroner's office was called and then the department was told to disregard that request, that ambulance crews were working on the victim, who was taken to East Liverpool City Hospital.
Hospital personnel initially confirmed someone by the victim's name was being treated in the emergency room, but later in the evening, police said the hospital had called and again requested the coroner be notified.
No other information was being released last night concerning how the accident occurred, nor was the victim's identity being released for the record.
