SALEM - Gary Lee Watkins, 68, of Salem passed away at his home on Friday, June 8, 2012.
Mr. Watkins was born in Salem on Aug. 9, 1943, the son of the late William E and Dorothy E. (Middleton) Watkins; he was a member of the United States Marine Corps Reserve and was a Senior Project Manager at SES, LLC. He was of the Presbyterian faith and was an avid woodworker.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Judith A. (Capots) Watkins of Salem whom he married on May 7, 1966; two sons, Nicholas R. (Becky Campbell) Watkins of Hilliard, Ohio, and Richard D. (Susan) Watkins of Stow, Ohio; and one, granddaughter Stephanie.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Brown Funeral Home in Salem with Pastor Lou Raymond officiating and Military Honors by the Salem Honor Guard. Friends may call the hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Boardman.
