Marjorie Hoffman
SALEM - Marjorie Hoffman, 95, of Winona, died at 5:20 a.m. Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the Sterling House in Salem.
She was born May 27, 1917 in Goshen Township, the daughter of the late Fred and Ella (Baker) Courtney.
Marjorie had worked at DeHoff Nursery in Alliance for 10 years and had also helped organize Breakaway Tours in Alliance.
She was a member of the Reading Church of the Brethren and enjoyed crafts, gardening and being with her family.
Her husband, Donald K. Hoffman, whom she married June 9, 1937, survives her along with two daughters, Arla (Roger) Hull of Salem and Lana (James) Stanley of Pendleton, Oregon; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A son, Donald J. Hoffman, a grandson, three brothers, and one sister preceded her in death.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Reading Church of the Brethren, 25418 Georgetown Road, Homeworth. Calling hours will be held on Thursday at the church one hour prior to the services. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park.
